Your latest activity on the weekends is music class at the appropriately named The Music Studio in Albany. You are learning about instruments and how to read music. After our usual trip the farmer’s market you and mom drop off the produce then head out to class. Every once and awhile Jack and I meet the two of you at P. F. Chang’s for lunch.
Sledding
Your first snow sledding adventure happened at the Bethlehem Town Park. There are some bigger hills but we decided to start out with a smaller one near the entrance. As you can see behind you there is an ice rink that was created by flooding the lower level.

Dan Zanes
What an awesome time at the Dan Zanes concert today. Mom bought tickets a few weeks ago for the whole family, but you probably enjoyed it the most. You spent most of the time on the edge of the stage dancing with the other kids.

Mercy Care for Kids
Since returning from our summer vacation you have been attending the Mercy Care for Kids day care program. The “school†is part of St. Peter’s hospital in Albany, NY. You’ve been doing great. So great that you recently were moved from Toddler 3 to Pre-K, skipping right over the “3s.†Your teachers in the toddler room were Erica, Kim, Corrie and your new teachers are Daphne and Jen.
First Day as the Big Boy
Today was your first day as one of the big kids at pre-school. Starting today you are to bring your backpack to and from school everyday. Your teacher, Janelle, has all the older kids do this as training for kindergarten. As we’ve come to find out this is a little different where Jack goes to school. He brings his backpack home but it doesn’t have school supplies in it. It has the “Communication Binder.†You on the other hand have a monkey-on-wheels backpack full of school supplies (crayons, glue stick, folder).
