Cleaning the Bathroom

I knew it wouldn’t take too long before you started acting like somebody in the family when it came to organizing. So here it is. A list much like the kind that your mother and her father (Pops) make every morning. On this Saturday morning you decided on your own—so proud—that you wanted to help mom clean the house, specifically the bathroom. You first made a list of all the things in the bathroom that need to be cleaned and then you cleaned them. You’re hired.

Geocaching with Jack

Today we explored a new part of the Delmar rail path as part of our geocaching adventure. We found four different geocaches along this part of the trail and ended with a larger one that contained some toys trade.

Play-Doh

At the annual Christmas party at The Kinder Learning Academy you received a Play-Doh set with lots of tools to make fun shapes of Doh. I think you’ve played with it every morning and evening since you received it. And usually you require somebody to by your assistant. Former assistants have included Mom, Dad, Jack, Nonna, and Poppa. Next up grammie, gramps, and anybody else who walks through the door.

Most of the time you’re pretending to cook, actually bake, with the Play-Doh because we end up making cookies. Maybe 2010 is the year you discover the Joy of Cooking.

at home with dad

you weren’t feeling all that well on this day so you stayed home with me. the picture below was taken when we got home from taking jack to school. i pulled into the driveway sideways so i could work in the garage as you slept in the car. it turns out that you had a little fever for a couple of days. nothing big. some rest and you were fine.
