fay

fay who. tropical storm fay. we’ve had pretty good weather as far as the hurricane season (summer) is concerned. on monday tropical storm fay made it’s way to florida and we decided to pack up the car and drive to ocala to stay at grammy and gramp’s house. you, mom, and i picked jack up at janelle’s and headed out of sarasota. you enjoyed the car ride napping and watching jack make funny faces trying to get you to laugh. the next day we went to the pool to get a wireless internet connection to check on the status of the storm since gramp’s satellite tv was off for the summer. mom checked email and dad checked the weather. we decided to head home after lunch. you, mom and jack slept most of the way home. we made it back home safely to find no damage to the house and went about our normal evening. goodbye fay.

new routine

today you started going to day-care three days a week. on mondays you’ll be home with dad and fridays you’ll be home with mom, but on tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays you’ll spend the day with jack and his friends at janelle’s.

karen’s last day

today was miss karen’s last regular day with you. there were gifts and tears and hugs. you and jack will see her again in the future as we call on her to babysit from time-to-time. she really does love you like a grandmother.

cereal

yummy rice cereal. okay, so to give it a little flavor we’ll add some pears, apple, banana, and peas. not all at once of course. next week pizza!
