Reach Out
I had so much fun with you today at the Saint Rose Reach Out event. Today you and I and some of the graphic design students participated in the Saint Rose community service project. The volunteer site was at the Albany Barn, a building that has artist studios, apartments, and a community center for events. We had fun helping organize the tools and materials room. You really got into punching the letters out of old keyboards and organizing tiny beads. You are such a thoughtful person and this was another example of how you are always doing things for other people.
Art Camp 2017
Two weeks of art camp at the town park. You absolutely love this art camp. The reason you always give is that you get to explore so many different kinds of art making in one week. In addition you also did a number of other art camps this summer.
Christmas 2016
Merry Christmas. This year we headed to Florida to see some family. The main purpose was to see Pops who wasn’t feeling well. In fact he ended up going into the hospital for surgery while we were there. He was fine and got out the day we flew back to Albany. Before visiting Pops and M.A. we went to Universal Studios where you and mom spent most of your time in the Simpson’s area of the part. It was awesome. All of us played lots of carnival games and won many plush toys of the Simpson’s family. You got everyone except Homer. After visiting the grandparents we went on Jacksonville to stay with the Wrotens and see Grammie and Gramps. You had great time playing with the cousins. You went to St. Augustine, went geocaching, and played around the neighborhood. You, Jackson, and Ava performed a dance routine one of the nights.
